Try pinning it to the taskbar too and then open a PDF perhaps. A reinstall of Windows solved the issue, so all is good now. Even an uninstall/reinstall of the app didnt solve it. The programs were still there, but the Windows Start Menu icons went missing. Of course this would also be invisible in the Explorer when someone switches to list view or other small icon mode. Just kill that Reader shortcut from the Start menu, and make your own (just open up C:Program FilesAdobeReader 9.0Reader and right-click AcroRd32.exe to choose 'Send To: Desktop (create shortcut)' and then drop that into your Start menu. Seems something happened to my PC that caused icons to go messing from the Windows Start Menu. For example tool windows(Qt::Tool flag) don't have an icon by default (but they can't be top level windows).Īnother option is using the same trick as before: creating a fully transparent image for the 16px version. Check other flags and see what you can come up with. You can try to play around with window flags, setWindowFlags(Qt::CustomizeWindowHint | Qt::WindowTitleHint) but you might loose some other features in the process. Close the window, and the task is complete of showing the right icon of Adobe Acrobat. Rename the shortcut from Acrobat.exe shortcut to Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Search for the Programs folder and paste there using CTRL+V. As I said the app window uses the small one (16px) while tha task bar takes a larger one (32px):! (Application icon)!Ĭould you tell me if you like at least remove the icon of the window? In Windows whether it has an icon or not depends on the window type and used windows flags. In the Windows folder, there must be Start Menu. The problem is that I know there are 2 new updates to Creative Cloud, but I cant update. The creative cloud icon is missing from my toolbar but I am still able to use photoshop and it launches without a problem. I believe my issue is a little different. I created an icon with different images for various sizes (I know, I'm not da Vinci):! (Icon)!Īnd then set that as an app icon. Hi, I know this discussion has already taken place. I don't think it will be possible to do this.
